We recommend replacing the full set of Weddell Duo filter cartridges every 5–6 months under standard water conditions for a single user. Actual replacement timing can vary based on the number of people using the shower, your water quality, and household usage patterns.

If you have hard water, well water, or heavily contaminated water, we recommend our 3+1 replacement cartridge set. This set includes extra white sediment filters so you can replace them more frequently without needing to replace the black filter every time.

Signs that it’s time to replace your filters include:

• Reduced water pressure – this is the most reliable indicator
• Discoloration of the white filter – this is normal and expected, but not always a reason to replace
• Reaching the rated filtration capacity (8,000 gallons)

For 3+1 users:

• Replace the white sediment filter as needed (based on pressure and discoloration)
• Replace the black filter every 3 white filter changes

Regular replacement ensures your shower water remains clean and effective in reducing contaminants.
